18 – 21 August 2026 · City of Ekurhuleni, Gauteng
Africa Golf Tourism Convention 2026
We attended the inaugural convention — where golf met tourism and Africa connected with the world.
On stage
Patrick Makamure, Director of Golf Africa Safaris, spoke at AGTC 2026
Patrick Makamure, Director of Golf Africa Safaris, was invited to speak at the Africa Golf Tourism Convention — the continent's first dedicated golf trade and investment platform — joining the Business of Golf Leadership Forum panel in Ekurhuleni.
AGTC brought together African golf destinations, international buyers, tourism authorities, airlines, investors and industry leaders under one roof in Gauteng, setting the marketplace for the future of golf tourism across Africa.
Patrick shared first-hand insight from years of building bespoke golf and safari journeys across Africa — from Leopard Creek and Skukuza to the Garden Route and Cape Winelands — and how Golf Africa Safaris connects the world's golfers with Africa's wildest and most exclusive fairways.
