A clifftop course set between the lagoon and the Indian Ocean with indigenous forest framing every hole. The 18th plays over a natural ravine to a clifftop green with the ocean behind — one of the most dramatic finishes in African golf.

Whale coast to the Mother City

A morning round on one of the Western Cape's most charming clifftop courses, then the transfer to Cape Town along Clarence Drive above False Bay — southern right whales rest in the bay from June to November.

A championship round in the Franschhoek valley framed by the Groot Drakenstein and Simonsberg mountains, then the main street of South Africa's food and wine capital.

Grand finale on the Atlantic seaboard

A final morning over Chapman's Peak — the coastal pass between Hout Bay and Noordhoek, scheduled for sunrise — before a farewell at Cape Point Vineyards and your departure transfer.

Southern right whales, often from the cliff path

Hermanus is the best land-based whale watching in the world. In season the southern rights come into Walker Bay to calve and you can watch them breach from the cliff path, or go out on a permitted boat.

Knysna Heads & lagoon

Oysters on the water between two sandstone cliffs

A boat across the lagoon to the Heads, oysters and a cold Chardonnay at the featherbed side, then back up to Pezula for a clifftop nine. Add the Knysna forest or a Tsitsikamma canopy walk if you have a spare morning.

Cape Winelands tasting

Three estates, one long lunch, a driver who knows the back roads

Pearl Valley sits inside Val de Vie, so the winelands are on your doorstep. We build a route through Stellenbosch and Franschhoek — old-vine Chenin, Cape Bordeaux blends and a lunch table booked for as long as you want it.
